The City of Fairfax’s Independence Day Parade

Back in 1967, the City of Fairfax hosted its first Independence Day Parade and Fireworks show. Since then, the Delta Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority has made the parade the largest in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With marching bands, motorcycles, vintage fire engines, floats, clowns, and massive crowds, the City of Fairfax demonstrates why their 4th of July parade is the best in the area!

The City of Fairfax celebrations don’t stop at the parade. Later in the evening, Fairfax will be hosting an Independence Day Evening Show and Fireworks display. From 8 PM to 8:30 PM, enjoy a lively performance by Ocho de Bastos, followed by welcomes and speeches. The talented Vienna-Falls Chorus, a performing and competing chorus for women of all ages will then sing the National Anthem.
More music from Ocho de Bastos will keep the excitement going before the fireworks display lights up the sky at 9:45 PM! The evening will conclude with a final performance by Ocho de Bastos.
